Camps

Improve your English whilst enjoying yourself at an Irish camp!

In Ireland, you will find two types of camps:

1

Activity Camps

These camps specialise in activities such as: Multi-adventure, Surf, Horse riding, Theatre, Rugby, Football and STEM (science, technology engineering and mathematics). There are no sit down language classes but all of the activities are carried out in English.

2

Language Camps

English language classes in the morning and activities in the afternoon.

The accommodation at both camps can be either residential or with a local family.
The camps are available at Easter and during the Summer months.

The camps in Ireland are a great option if you want your children to enjoy their favourite hobbies together with Irish children and other nationalities whilst simultaneously improving their English in the most fun way possible.

Being immersed in local culture with local people will enable your children to gain confidence and fluency in English, as well as sharing experiences they will never forget.

True Ireland offers a personalised service taking into consideration the specific interests of each child: sport, theatre, science, multi-adventure, etc.
As we are Irish, we personally know each camp and all of the locations across the island. We offer a bespoke service to assist you in finding the best-fit camp for your children. We will endeavour to advise you during the search, selection and application process, and will also provide assistance during your child’s stay.

Advantages:

  • Attending a camp in Ireland is one of the best ways you can improve your English during holiday time and also gain independence whilst away from home.
  • It’s an incredible first step for both parents and children. If the experience is positive, the next step could be an academic programme in Ireland!

How do we work?

  • We conduct a personal interview with parents and child/children to understand their interests, their level of English and their preferred dates.
  • We provide detailed information on the available options according to the requirements of each child.
  • If you wish to continue with the process, a payment fee of 150€ is necessary. Once paid we then begin to look for a camp that suits your child’s needs. The fee is 100% refundable if we are unable to find a camp for your child. In the event that the parents reject the camp, the fee will not be returned.
  • Once selection is accepted, True Ireland will make the reservation.
  • The payment will be made directly to the camp according to their conditions.

Optional services:

Travel assistance – the child/children can be accompanied by a member of our team on their flight. Upon arrival in Ireland a camp employee will meet them to accompany them to the camp.

We can facilitate and coordinate all logistics related to your child’s trip (flights, transport, etc.).

Travel insurance can be provided and arranged at an additional cost.
